Ready to Use Full Size BLOCK PATTERNS

A fair question, what exactly is a block pattern?  Because human bodies are all generally the same configuration, differing only in proportions, contours and size, all clothes stem from a 'basic pattern' consisting of a top or bottom front and back and also sleeves.  The pattern can be fitted or unfitted and, if made as the genesis for a particular design, it can also have some other design charateristics.  Blocks can have fitting ease for sitting and moving about and may have design ease in them if they are for a specific type of garment, like a jacket.

If you purchase a block pattern that has been professionally made, it will be accurate, measured correctly, balanced and trued.  With it you can then go right to the design modifications that you want to make to achieve your design goals -- changing lengths, adding decorative details and seams or making any parts different while keeping the basic fit and structure the same.  Blocks make it possible for you to design quickly without starting from scratch with each design, to keep a good block that fits your customers and update it each season and to grade for sizes more easily.

These blocks are in UK sizing which is generally one size smaller than US sizes.  To be accurate, please measure first to determine which size in the nest best fits your customer.  You may wish to rename the sizes in the nest.
