This DVD starts with the making of a basic block pattern, in which Mr. Clark shows exactly how to balance a garment, and then shows the use of this block to draft a lady's fitted jacket with a two-piece tailored sleeve and collar/revers. The approach uses flat pattern and drafting techniques but it also shows the jacket on the form (draping the collar). The perfect tailored sleeve is achieved with a special formula. A lot of information is contained within this DVD, with numerous in-depth demonstrations on the art of tailoring. The pattern is finally cut and presented on the dress form.

Presenter, Don Clark, who has been a pattern cutter for over thirty-five years. He shows a quick and easy approach to this very technical subject.
