Julian Roberts Subtraction Cutting pattern design concepts are generated by three main pattern pieces which he calls the "DNA" of Subtraction Cutting.  The designs are achieved by the way the patterns are used on the fabric.  In addition to his original pattern and the graded nests in US 8 - 18, there are also three unusual layouts exclusive to this download, including one close to zero-waste. 

In this download, there are three versions of the SubCut DNA:

1.  Julian's original pattern in UK size 10 only; 

2.  A graded pattern of the original graded in US sizes 8 - 18 which can be sent, or placed on a disk and taken, to a commercial copy shop where they print it out on their wide-format printer in one full piece.

3.  A graded pattern of the US sizes which is "tiled", meaning it can be printed out on your home printer in 9 pages or tiles. 

Please note that the sizes are in colors and that printers, be they domestic or commercial, can be out of calibration, causing slight distortions.  Check your measurements and that of your printed patterns, allowing for ease, and select the size that will best fit.
