Refund and Return Policies

You may return most new, unopened items within 10 days of delivery for a full refund less the shipping charge. If the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.), we'll also pay the return shipping costs otherwise you must pay the return shipping. Return all instruction sheets or other information provided. Patterns must be returned uncut or marked, tools must be unused. Downloadable items and software are not returnable. 

You should expect to receive your refund within two to four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).

If you need to return an item, simply log into your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item. If you ordered as a guest, e-mail us with your return request. 

We can ship to most all addresses in the world through the US Postal Service.  There are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations. Restrictions are noted on the product detail page. 

When you place an order, we will estimate shipping and delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items and the shipping options you choose. 

Please also note that the shipping rates for many items we sell are weight-based. The weight of any such item can be found on its detail page. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full pound and may reflect the additional weight of the shipping container. Money order and credit card orders are usually shipped in 1 to 5 days, but checks must clear before we can ship; usually a 10 day holding period is required.


All prices are quoted in US dollars ($). We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover credit cards, PayPal and checks and money orders drawn on USA banks. Placing Your Order

The fastest way to place your order is to use or secure online shopping cart and your credit card. This streamlines the order process and makes sure your order is processed quickly and accurately. The shopping cart will process both domestic and international orders. For international orders, make sure you select your country in the address section to see country information.

If you would prefer not to use the shopping cart, please place your order by phone. Our number is 707-968-7748. We no longer have a fax number.

Orders are processed first-in, first-out based on stock availability. Most orders ship within 1 to 5 days from the day the order is placed. If the product is a custom built-to-order part, other items in the order are held until the custom part is ready and then all items are shipped at once. See product information for each individual custom part for the build time.

If you receive a shipment that is incomplete, incorrect, or physically damaged, please let us know right away. Save all the packing materials and email or call with the details of the issue. 

Original shipping charges are not refundable for refused orders. In addition, refused orders will be subject to additional shipping charges incurred in the return and retrieval of the shipment to CFPD as well as the reversal of any online shipping discount. International orders that are refused will be subject to local taxes, import and export fees, as well as return shipping costs.

Taxes & Duty

All orders ship from Eugene Oregon. CFPD does not bill or collect sales tax.

For all shipments outside of the United States, any duties, taxes, and/or brokerage fees are the responsibility of the customer and these fees, where applicable, may be collected at the time of delivery.

Security & Privacy

Your credit card and personal data security is very important to us. All personal information provided to CFPD is encrypted to ensure it remains private. Online orders are processed through secure servers with PayPal. We do not store your credit card information on site.

If you change your mind and want to cancel your order, you may do so by emailing or calling us. If the order has not been shipped, we will cancel the order and offer you a full refund. If the item has been shipped you may return the item as outlined in our Returns Policy above. The cost of shipping will not be refunded.

Support & Warranty

CFPD products do not have warranties. If you need help with a product or think it may be defective, please email or call and we will do our best to resolve the issue.


All sales are transacted in the State of Oregon, Lane County. All disputes with CFPD shall be brought by the customer in the State or Federal Courts in the State of Oregon, Lane County. When placing an order you agree that the venue for any dispute is as listed above.


Errors & Omissions

While we make every attempt to insure that the information on our website and in our store is correct, we are human (just like you) and sometimes mistakes are made. We reserve the right to modify pricing, descriptions or any other details that may have been posted in error.
