V Dress Bias Cut

V Dress Bias Cut

$28.00

For bias fans this dress wins the prize! It is called the V Dress because it has so many opportunities for a chevron effects at the front, back and yoke seams. The V Dress has only two pattern pieces, bodice and skirt, each cut twice which wrap around the body from the CF to the CB seam. The slot sleeve is created as the back bodice lays over the shoulder to form the front yoke.  There are no shoulder or side seams.  The V Dress is designed for stripes, of course, but also great in plaids, ribbed weaves or those with wales like corduroy. The sample is done in a light weight wool twill. The pattern is graded from XS to XL with the garment measurements printed in the instructions.

Due to the unusual bias cut, this pattern requires intermediate to advanced sewing skills -- not for beginners.
